Hours of Operation
The Higher Pursuits hours of operation vary by season, we typically open for rentals in April and close for rentals the third week of October. Sometimes we offer classes or guided trips before the season begins or after the season ends, so follow us on facebook for our list of upcoming classes, events and trips.
Throughout the season weather or water conditions may prevent us from opening or limit the trips we can provide that day. We also post any changes to our hours and trips on our facebook page. You can also call to get any updates. If you have a reservation and we cannot open, we typically begin calling customers with reservations at 7:30 am to inform you that we are unable to open.
Our last drop off time is the last time of the day that we will drop off rental customers on the 5.5 mile trip . To find out more about this trip visit our Paddling Route page. The last pick up of the day is the time we want all rental customers off the river. This time is based on the average sunset time for that season.
