What to Expect:
The trip begins at 9 am and normally wraps up around 3 pm. This gives the group plenty of time to explore and leisurely paddle down the Duck River. The group will begin by spending a few minutes talking about the Duck River and the route the group will paddle. Then the guide will take the group down the 5.5-mile section of the river that flows through the Yanahli Wildlife Management Area. The group will make several stops to explore the river, talk about its history and also look at the wildlife in and around the river. Additionally, the group will stop at one of the gravel bars and eat lunch. Lunch is not provided but we encourage participants to bring a lunch in a small cooler.
