our Teacher Training/In-Service |

Our teacher in-service program focuses on teamwork,
learning and fun. |
|
We use the True Colors Personality Assessment to
explore the personality types within the group and discover the strengths,
values and needs of all group members. Each person can learn about
their own personality type and how it affects their relationship with
students, parents, and other teachers. |
|
This is a fun way to invest in faculty and staff
development and build a stronger relationship within your team. |
|
|
|
In
addition to True Colors, we also include teambuilding activities designed
specifically designed for educators. These are activities that focus
on communication, cooperation, and teamwork. |
|
Events are
chosen for these training programs to ensure that all faculty and staff
members can participate regardless of their physical or athletic ability. |

Location and Cost of Activities:
|
Higher
Pursuits can set-up a school program in your gymnasium, library,
cafeteria, schoolyard, or a
nearby park. |
|
Cost of
the program is determined by the number participants, length of program,
number of facilitators required, and distance to program. |
|
Program
length can range from a couple hours to a full day program. |

What is True
Colors®?
True Colors® is a
personality assessment tool based on the work of Myers-Briggs and Keirsey
that was created to translate complicated personality and learning theory
into practical information we can all understand and use.
True Colors begins
with fun and creative exercises that identify participants among four basic
personality types or "colors."

Keys to Personal
Success:
This is most
cost-effective workbook that you can choose. An effective
True Colors presentation can be made using this workbook by supplementing
the program with additional handouts and visual aids. For short training
programs this is a good option. Cost of materials is $10.00 per
participant.
